Master's students of the educational program "Media Management" of the Faculty of Creative Industries of the Higher School of Economics visited the Radisson Slavyanskaya Hotel & Business Center, Moscow as part of a study tour dedicated to the features of the hotel business and modern methods of promoting services in the hospitality industry.

Students got acquainted with the number of rooms and assessed the level of comfort of rooms of various categories. They visited a sports center equipped with everything necessary for sports and recreation, restaurants and boutiques, as well as halls designed for holding various events, which allowed them to get an idea of the versatility of the hotel and business center.
A lecture was organized for HSE students, during which they were able to dive deeper into the topics of marketing and PR in the context of the hotel business. Olga Smirnova, Head of the Advertising and Public Relations Department of the Radisson Slavyanskaya Hotel & Business Center, Moscow, shared with them information about the specifics of forming the hotel’s annual PR strategy, the promotion tools used and the features of working with the target audience. The key aspects of the department’s interaction with other hotel departments to achieve common business goals were covered.
Students were interested in issues of interaction with the management company, special projects and programs of the Radisson Hotel Group in the Russian market. The requirements for marketing and advertising managers and employment conditions were discussed, which became an important point for students to understand professional standards and expectations in this field.
Meetings with students are held at the Radisson Slavyanskaya Hotel & Business Center, Moscow regularly. Last year, the hotel was visited by students of the Russian Economic University named after G.V. Plekhanov, and in the near future plans include organizing meetings with students of Moscow State University, MGIMO and RANEPA. These activities contribute significantly to the development of students' professional skills and help them better understand the dynamics and demands of the hospitality industry.
