RADISSON SLAVYANSKAYA WILL ACCOMMODATE CHILDREN FROM ORPHANAGES AND BOARDING SCHOOLS

The Radisson Slavyanskaya Hotel has become a partner of the MISSION charity foundation and will provide free accommodation for the foundation's wards.

From June 1st to 2nd, the hotel will accommodate children in difficult life situations. Residents of orphanages and boarding schools, as well as children with disabilities, will arrive with chaperones from various cities across the country.

The children have big plans for June 1, International Children's Day: they'll attend a charity concert featuring popular artists "Mission of Good" in the historic building of the Central House of Writers on Bolshaya Nikitskaya Street and the "Matryoshka Mission" exhibition at the All-Russian Museum of Decorative Arts. The exhibition features matryoshka dolls painted with motifs from the costumes of various peoples of Russia, as well as Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia, Lithuania, Greece, and Vietnam. All the paintings are hand-painted by children from orphanages, and each matryoshka doll is "dressed" in the costume of the people it represents.

On June 2, children will visit Red Square. They will also enjoy a tour of Zaryadye Park, including a virtual experience called "Flight Over Moscow."

Radisson Slavyanskaya Hotel is actively involved in charitable activities. For over 20 years, the hotel restaurant has hosted a charity lunch on Children's Day for over 300 children from orphanages and low-income families who came to Moscow from various regions. Since 2012, the Radisson Slavyanskaya Hotel has hosted the "Let's Get the Kids Ready for School!" charity campaign, during which hotel staff collect educational kits for orphans and children in orphanages. And through the hotel's participation in the "Books as a Gift" program, children with visual impairments receive sets of full-color illustrated books, expanding their opportunities for a fulfilling life.
