Special containers have been installed on the hotel grounds to collect plastic waste, the contents of which will be sent to a recycling plant. Proceeds from the recycling will be donated to the Volunteers Helping Orphans foundation.
Thanks to the plastic waste collection, children with developmental disabilities in foster care will be provided with wheelchairs and other expensive equipment and rehabilitation devices. Over the four years of the project, more than 290 tons of bottle caps have been collected, worth almost 8 million rubles, and 40 children have received assistance.
The Radisson Slavyanskaya Hotel continually expands its social responsibility and supports various charitable initiatives, including the international Earth Hour campaign and joint projects with the Gift of Life foundation. Hotel staff have been volunteering at the Kuntsevsky Family Support Center for many years, spending time with children, improving the grounds, and donating funds raised at corporate charity bazaars to the Center.
As part of the "Tourism with an Open Heart" charity campaign, Radisson Slavyanskaya is providing the "House with a Lighthouse" foundation with accommodation certificates, with proceeds going to children in need of medical treatment.
