“Guiding Star” is an annual award of the Moscow Government in the field of tourism and hospitality, established in 1999. The non-profit professional competition encourages innovative initiatives, helps improve the quality of capital services and enhance the image of Moscow.
The winners are determined based on the assessments of industry professionals, ratings from global reservation systems, consumer reviews and the results of online voting by Muscovites in the “Active Citizen” project. Hotels, travel companies, gastronomic projects, city festivals, architectural sites, etc. compete annually for the title of the best.
