ITALIAN WINE FESTIVAL AT THE RADISSON SLAVYANSKAYA HOTEL

In the lobby bar of the Radisson Slavyanskaya Hotel, guests are greeted by a festival of wines from different regions of Italy, and a complimentary selection of Italian bruschetta is served with every bottle of wine ordered.

The festival features red and white Italian wines from 2014–2017. Among them is the Orvieto Classico Superiore DOC, whose aroma harmoniously intertwines notes of white flowers, ripe peaches, and bananas. The wine's palate is dense, persistent, and balanced, with bright, lively, and piquant acidity. Soave Classico DOC has a vibrant, fruity aroma with characteristic hints of quince, a well-balanced acidity, and a pleasant piquant finish. The aroma of the red Primitivo Salento reveals notes of sweet wild berries, chocolate, cappuccino, and black pepper. The wine has a rich, lingering finish.

Valpolicella Classico DOC is also worth trying, with aromas dominated by notes of prune, cherry yogurt, mocha, and spice. Floral, fruity, rich, and light—their vibrant flavors will impress even the most discerning connoisseurs of grape wine.

According to the organizers, the festival will run until the end of summer and may be extended into the fall.
